About the club
Bitterrodders Car Club is a 501(c)(3) public charity in Hamilton, Montana. Promoting automotive enthusiasm in the Bitterroot Valley — a welcoming club for owners of cars, trucks, and motorcycles to socialize, share ideas, cruise together, and raise funds for veterans and local charities.
Founded March 24, 1998, we grew from a small local circle into a multi-state network of enthusiasts across Montana, Idaho, Arizona, and Washington — still rooted in the Bitterroot Valley every weekend.
Whether you drive a restored muscle car, a daily driver truck, or a weekend motorcycle, there is a place for you in the clubhouse.

Impact
Thousands raised over decades for veterans and local partners.
Heroes & Hot Rods puts classic cars beside the Hamilton Veterans Memorial — raising support and visibility for those who served.
Car-B-Que proceeds help partners such as the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention reach people who need hope.
From local human-services groups to community associations, event proceeds stay rooted in Montana’s Bitterroot Valley.
Why it matters
As a 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 20-3979337), gifts to Bitterrodders may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Proceeds from Heroes & Hot Rods, Car-B-Que, and other events flow to veterans’ causes, suicide-prevention partners, and Bitterroot Valley nonprofits.
History
Nearly three decades of cruises, shows, and charity — still rolling under the same banner.
Founded March 24, 1998 on a simple love of the automobile — a small Hamilton circle that wanted to cruise, wrench, and hang out together.
What began locally grew into a multi-state network of enthusiasts across Montana, Idaho, Arizona, and Washington.
Tax-exempt status since September 2011 formalized what members already practiced: using car culture to fundraise for good.
Nearly three decades of shows, poker cruises, and Cars & Coffee energy — still driven by passion, still united by community.
